A quick note to let you know the deadline has been extended to submit an abstract for our upcoming research paradigms book. Final abstracts are due 28 November 2025 at 12PM AEST (Melbourne time; UTC+11). So you still have time! 🎉 We are looking for stories from all different paradigms – how did your research paradigm actually shape your research design, practice, and impact? Share your stories to help others navigate the complexities of ontology, epistemology, and axiology!
Please also share with colleagues across disciplines: method stories from lab, field, classroom, clinic, and community settings are all welcome.

I know the deadline has passed, but I’m wondering if you have an articles (or many) submitted that share ways of decolonising / indigenising research. FYI I’m a PhD student (settler-scholar) at Sydney Uni undertaking research with the local Aboriginal community on the topic of Indigenous songs in schools and choirs.
Your research sounds interesting! Yes, we have received EOIs for several Indigenous and decolonial chapters – some exploring Indigenous viewpoints within existing paradigms and others using fully Indigenous paradigms. We are at the stage of waiting for submissions (the full chapters are due in about a month’s time. It is possible that one of the chapter authors may withdraw at that stage, in which case we could accept a chapter from you in their place. So if you would like us to consider a chapter from you, please email me and I’ll send you the formatting and other requirements. If we then don’t have place, you can always submit the chapter to a methodology journal later 🙂
