Dear ,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to inquire about the possibility of contributing a chapter to your forthcoming [book title, e.g., Generative AI-Enhanced Research: Ethical, Practical, and Transformative Approaches].
My proposed chapter is titled “Ethical Use of ChatGPT Among Postgraduates”. It aims to explore how postgraduate students use ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools in academic writing and research, focusing on ethical considerations, institutional guidelines, and the balance between innovation and academic integrity.
Could you please confirm:
• Does my topic align with your volume’s scope?
• If your publisher submits the final book to the Web of Science Book Citation Index or any other major indexing service?
• Are there any publication charges or fees for authors?
I would be grateful for any guidance on how to best shape my proposal to align with your editorial vision. I look forward to hearing from you and contributing to this timely discussion.
Warm regards,

Hi Shazia,
Yes your topic does align very well with the book’s scope. As you can see here (https://surveys.unisq.edu.au/index.php/598573?lang=en), it could fall into several categories depending on the actual content, though I think it would probably fit most closely to “Section 5: Generative AI and Research Training, Critical Thinking, and Future Trends”. There will be no charges for the authors, as the book will be published by the lead editor’s institutional publishing house (Pressbooks), similar to this book: https://usq.pressbooks.pub/academicsuccess/ I checked and this book is indexed in Google Scholar. I’m not sure about the index you refer to.

Hi Smitha, Since we extended the deadline for abstract submissions, we are only starting the review of abstracts now. I suspect the notifications will now be sent near the end of August.
